การวัดอุณหภูมิเพื่อคำนวณวันไข่ตก

การวัดอุณหภูมิเพื่อคำนวณหาวันไข่ตกนั้น ต้องวัดตอนเช้าทันทีที่ตื่นนอน
ซึ่งถือเป็นอุณหภูมิที่ต่ำสุดขณะที่ร่างกายไม่มีกิจกรรมใดๆ เรียกว่า Basal Body Temperature (BBT)
โดยผู้วัดจะต้องนอนหลับสนิทเพียงพอเป็นเวลาอย่างน้อยห้าชั่วโมงก่อนวัด
เพื่อที่อุณหภูมิในร่างกายจะได้ปรับไปยังจุดที่ไม่มีการรบกวนจากปัจจัยอื่น อันจะทำให้อุณหภูมิ BBT สูงกว่าความเป็นจริง

วิธีการที่แนะนำกันก็คือ
1.เตรียมเทอร์โมมิเตอร์ซึ่งมีความละเอียดเพียงพอสองจุดทศนิยมไว้ข้างเตียง
(แต่ถ้าไม่มีก็ไม่เป็นไรค่ะ..ใช้หนึ่งจุดทศนิยมก็พอใช้ได้..แต่อาจเห็นความแตกต่างได้น้อยกว่า)
2.วัดอุหภูมิทันทีที่ตื่นนอนก่อนลุกไปทำกิจกรรมใดๆ (วัดทางปากจะสะดวกที่สุดค่ะ)
3.ลงข้อมูลอุณหภูมิในตารางที่ส่งให้ไป (ดาวน์โหลดจากหัวข้อข่าวประชาสัมพันธ์นะคะ ..ถ้าดาวน์โหลดไม่ได้ ลงอีเมล์ไว้..จะส่งไปให้ค่ะ) ข้อมูลจะพล็อตเป็นกราฟออกมาให้เห็น

วิธีการแปลกราฟ
หลักการง่ายๆคือ แบ่งเป็นสองช่วง ดูตัวอย่างกราฟประกอบ วันไข่ตกคือวันที่ 16
(อุณหภูมิในที่นี้ ใช้หน่วยเป็นฟาเรนไฮต์ แต่หลักการเดียวกันกับหน่วยเซลเซียสค่ะ)



ช่วงแรกคือ ช่วงมีประจำเดือนจนถึงไข่ตก จะเห็นว่าอุณหภูมิจะค่อนข้างต่ำ สำหรับบางคนอุณหภูมิวันไข่ตกจะตกลงจากกราฟก่อนหน้าอย่างเห็นได้ชัด แต่บางคนก็ไม่ชัดเจน

ช่วงที่สองคือ ช่วงหลังไข่ตกจนถึงก่อนมีประจำเดือนรอบถัดไป จะเห็นว่าอุณหภูมิจะสูงขึ้นอย่างเห็นได้ชัด และตกลงก่อนมีประจำเดือน

จากกราฟตัวอย่าง จะเห็นว่าหลังวันที่ 16 อุหภูมิสูงขึ้นอย่างเห็นได้ชัด แสดงว่าไข่ตกไปเรียบร้อยแล้ว ดังนั้นช่วงไข่ตกน่าจะอยู่ในวันที่ 16

ดังนั้นจากกราฟนี้ ถ้าเรามีเพศสัมพันธ์ช่วงวันที่ 13-17 จะมีโอกาสตั้งครรภ์สูง
(อสุจิมีชีวิตเฉลี่ยอยู่ในช่องคลอดหรือมดลูกได้นานถึง 3-5 วัน และไข่มีอายุไม่เกิน 24 ชั่วโมง)

จากวารสารทางการแพทย์ของต่างประเทศที่เคยศึกษามากล่าวไว้ว่า อสุจิควรเผื่อเวลาเดินทางก่อนไข่ตกหกชั่วโมงค่ะ ไม่อย่างนั้นมีโอกาสเดินทางไม่ทันอายุไข่ได้

ดังนั้นถ้าเราวัดอุณหภูมิทุกๆเดือนไป เราจะประมาณวันไข่ตกได้ ้และกำหนดวันมีเพศสัมพันธ์ได้ค่อนข้างแน่นอนค่ะ

ในกรณีที่มีตัวช่วยอย่างอื่น เช่น ที่ตรวจปัสสาวะวัดฮอร์โมน LH เพื่อดูไข่ตก หรือการสังเกตุมูกที่ปากมดลูกซึ่งจะมีลักษณะใสๆเหมือนไข่ขาว ก็สามารถใช้ประกอบกับกราฟเพื่อดูแนวโน้มได้ค่ะ
